Are there online support or help files?

 

Answer: Contract Web includes online documentation and unlimited e-mail help for our hosted software.  

Question:

Do we have a choice of web servers? Or, in other words would we have to use MS IIS as the web server?

 

Answer: It is required to use Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server). IIS can be run on an NT platform and a Windows 2000/2003 Server.  

Question:

Do you customize/configure your product per additional client requirements?

 

Answer: Yes we will customize Contract Web to your requirements. Please send a list of requirements to info@contractmanagementsystem.com and we will send you a quote. 

Question:

Does Contract Web track centers or departments?

 

Answer: Contract Web handles tracking by Department and Location as well as categories and status code.  

Question:

What type of support and maintenance do you offer?

 

Answer: Yes. The support and maintenance is included in our web-based system as a part of the monthly fee. However, if you purchase our client/server versions rather than our web-based version, the support and maintenance is 20 percent of the client/server product price. Our support is handled by a call center that is available 24x7.

Does the Contract Web software include an ad-hoc query tool?

 

Answer: An ad-hoc query tool and custom report builder is included.

Does the system support automatic e-mail alerts?

 

Answer: Yes, unlimited email alerts are included.

Question:

Does the system track main contracts and subcontracts?

 

Answer: Contract Web can handle Contracts and Subcontracts or Sub Tasks. You can view the main contract and subcontract listing on one screen and click on the subcontract link for the subcontract details.

Does your product have the ability to support multiple "companies" from a single installation?

 

Answer: Yes, we have implemented our Contract Web system to support multiple companies on one server. Please e-mail us for more information concerning how we can customize our software to meet your specific needs.

Does Contract Web offer logging and auditing of changes for compliance purposes.

 

Answer: Yes, each record change captures the user that makes each change and the time and date the change has been made. The system logs each log in event and various system events such as edits and deletes.

Is Contract Web is available as a stand-alone (non-hosted) product or hosted as an Application Service Provider (ASP)?

 

Answer: Contract Web can be hosted by CobbleStone Systems or installed on your company’s network. The most common purchase is to have us host Contract Web for our customers in our High Availability Hosting Center. Hosting can be very beneficial to your technology staff and reduce operation costs. However, we do offer Contract Management Web as non-hosted product (installed in your organization). Contact us for more information.

Is hosting our applications on the web secure?

 

Answer: We take all available means to secure our customers data and our data alike. We believe that if our customers are satisfied with our services that they will return for more services in the future. Our systems are hosted on Microsoft Internet Technologies utilizing Windows 2000, Active Server Pages, COM, and SQL Server with username and password authentication. We also provide Windows or third party digital certificates such as VeriSign as an option.

Is there a user manual online?

 

Answer: Yes, please refer to our website.

Is there an online demo?

 

Answer: Yes, we offer a full featured demo online at http://demo.cobblestonesystems.com .  Contact us to receive login information for the demo or for a web-based demo.

Is there any training offered?

 

Answer: Yes, we offer training and we offer several online manuals and documents. On site training is based on a per session basis not including Travel and Expenses.

Is there the ability to attach document images to the contracts?

 

Answer: Yes, multiple files and images can be uploaded to the contracts. "TIF" format is preferred, but Contract Web can support any file format including documents, spreadsheets, voice mail, e-mail, text, bitmaps, and more.

Are the uploaded/attached documents indexed and are they searchable?

 

Answer: Yes, text based documents and files are indexed and searchable.

What are the advantages of hosting?

What database does Contract Web utilize? What databases does it support?

 

Answer: Our web-based systems are design using Microsoft SQL Server. We apply the latest service packs and plan to keep our database platform up-to-date.

What is the operating system and technology that the system is hosted on?

 

Answer: The Contract Web software is hosted on MS Windows 2000/2003 Server, MS SQL server database, Active Server Pages (ASP), and Internet Information Services (IIS).

What reports are included?

 

Answer: We have several standard report views. Please refer to the online demo to review the views. Contract Web include a custom report builder and ad-hoc query tool that enables our users to create and save their own reports.

Can ad-hoc reports be saved and assigned to users?

 

Yes, Contract Web supports the ability to save reports and assign users permission to view them. You can also export and save your reports to any data format.

Are global user defined fields supported?

 

Yes, Contract Web supports the ability to add user defined fields. And you can query and report off of any field.  

Question:

Can all reports be exported and e-mailed?

 

Yes, Contract Web supports the ability to create custom reports and send your reports via e-mail. You can also export and save your reports to any data format.

Is there a custom ad-hoc reporting tool included?

 

Yes, Contract Web includes an ad-hoc query and custom reporting tool for free. This enables you to query and report off of any field.

What type of support do you offer?

 

Answer: Support is included in the monthly subscription price. We offer unlimited e-mail support and phone support 8am to 5pm EST with your subscription.
